When you walk into a dispensary, you'll often see products organized by indica, sativa, and hybrid. But what do these labels actually mean?

Indica

Indica strains are traditionally associated with relaxation and body-focused effects. They're often recommended for evening use, helping with sleep, pain relief, and winding down after a long day.

Sativa

Sativa strains are known for their uplifting, cerebral effects. They're popular for daytime use, offering energy, creativity, and focus without the heavy sedation.

Hybrid

Hybrid strains combine genetics from both indica and sativa plants. They can lean one way or the other, or offer a balanced experience. Hybrids are great if you're looking for something that addresses multiple needs.

More than the label.

While the indica/sativa distinction is a helpful starting point, modern cannabis science suggests that terpenes and cannabinoid profiles play an even bigger role in the effects you'll experience. At Mission Cannabis Club, our knowledgeable staff can help you navigate the options and find the perfect match for your lifestyle.
